2. Copy of both side of EAD (and for faster processing, upper part of mailer, in which EAD came)
3. Copy of Passport Photo page and last Visa Page (Serves as federal id)

There's definitely something fishy about the way these events took a sudden turn. It's all surfacing now. USCIS certainly needs to have transparency in the way they performs their duties. This is entirely unacceptable.

yes, you will miss the window if dates retrogress but this is the safest approach as if you used company A's GC then u have to work for that company A after getting ur GC. You start applying to Company A for employment in the same job

I don't agree with what mbawa2574 has to say,but I certainly disagree banning mbawa for expressing views. I think, mbawa2574 is well within limits of posting anything that could hurt IV image/goals. ( On this thread, I mean).

I'd rather help channel his thoughts and energies in a direction that helps IV than ban him.

I think we reserve the right to make sure what appears on the home page of the website. Is there anything wrong with that?
Have you tried asking Numbersusa, Programmers Guild and your employer about changing leadership? What makes this organization any different? Just because anyone can post anything on IV website to get visibility on the homepage, its not ok to abuse the resources of the organization. We did not create IV to promote democracy or freedom of expression, there are ample of other sites to promote democracy and freedom of expression, you are free to use those resource at your liking. IV website is for a single purpose of achieving the goals we have set for the organization. You can find our goals on the website. And anything that conflicts with our goal will be removed. Its easy to use terms like democracy, freedom of expression etc to defend actions that malign the good effort put in by others. H1 renewal i can understand but you need not apply for h4 renewal if your wife is working on EAD. Because if she wants to come back on h4, she always can and does not need h4 to be renewed now.
did you check with your attorney, if she absolutely has to do h4 renewal.
I understand that H4 Renewal is not really required; but if something happens to our AOS, then I will be on H1 and she willl be out of status and has to go out of country and come back on H4. Its always good to maintain both of our NIV status and also it helps to get 3 year DL renewal etc...

I joined employer A and substituted labor with 2004 priority date. And it has been approved already, my understanding is labor substitution is nothing but filing I 140 but with some one else labor.
My current situation is, I got a perm job and have approached company attorney and she saying / asking, since this is labor substitution case, so, I need to have letter from employer �A� saying that labor used for me was initially filed for person X and he later left the company. Hence that has been used for me.
This is required to prove that there is no fraud happened while filing my case.
As you all know, in this current situation, I can not go back and ask employer �A� about that letter.
Any suggestions etc please provide.

REQUEST A SET OF COPIES WHEN EVER ATTORNEY FILING / FOLLOW UP ANY RFE etc FOR YOU. IRRESPECTIVE WHETHER YOU PAY OR COMPLANY PAYS GC FEES

Agree with Anders on shooting small birds. The limited success I've had has only come when I've regularly gone to a location and stood still/sat still so they get used to me. At a bird feeding station in a local preserve, I go during my lunch hour in the winter. I find that I have to stand in one location with camera/tripod set up. When I first arrive the birds all disappear. It takes about 30 min. at this location before they start making their way back to the feeder. I can watch them as they move from tree to tree, progressively closer to the feeder. After 30 min. or so, they'll start feeding and landing in close-by bushes and I can start shooting. Of course, by then, my hands and feet are frozen. The price you pay. Like Anders, I also have more success and shorter sessions if I'm able to visit the same place frequently. If I just had Anders' skills I'd probably have some good shots to show for the effort. This cardinal shot is one lucky result from a frozen-limb effort.

I guess you mistook my statement... what I said was, where did they get enough EB2-ROW to approve and so fast that they used up all the visas earmarked for EB2-ROW... Its unavailability now that will cause a backlog and thus retorgression after october...
in other words, if demand is higher than supply there will be a demand side backlog and this backlog occurs due to more demand than supply and thus unavailability of the "commodity"... this "unsatisfied demand" or "backlog" will then cause retrogression...
my question was, where did so much EB2-ROW demand come from when in reality with country quotas and EB2-ROW being current all along there NEVER was a extrodinary demand and a pending backlog in this cat. to begin with...
No, I didn't misunderstand your statement at all. EB2 Row didn't have a massive demand. EB3 ROW did.

It doesn't make a jot of a difference whether they were distributed to EB2 ROW (and probably weren't, since as I mentioned, it was never Retrogressed, and therefore never in demand or never a problem)

When the visa numbers are done, they are done. If there are spare visas in the ROW category, they trickle down to EB3. If there are no bottlenecks at EB1 or EB2, the supply is greater than demand and EB3 benefits.
There is easily enough demand from ROW all categories combined to make up the difference.
This is assuming, of course, that the 7% country limits were observed.

Many Greencard holders have a difficulty marrying spouses from another country (than USA). USCIS imposes harsh rules and Greencard holders can not even bring their spouses on a travel permit for visitation rights. Prisoners fare better as they have visitation rights and their spouses can come and see them.
