Our travel doc is expiring in October 2010. My wife would like to travel in Sep and return in Nov/Dec timeframe and now we are waiting since mid July on the renewal. Airfares are already high this year for some reason and we can't make travel plans or book tickets until the last minute. Very frustrating. I remember last year my renewal got approved in less than a month, not sure whats the delay this year...How do we even go about contacting them to expedite?

I have similar situation with my EAD renewal too, my employer filed my EAD renewal, my I-485 case is pending in TSC (txed from NSC) but my renewal was sent to NSC, when enquired, following is the response I received back from my companies Immigration group,
"Renewal applications are filed based on the location of your residence, as per CIS requirements"
I am based out of MN, hence NSC.
Hope this helps.

Take an infopass appointment, ask them to generate a finger print notice for the same day, then go to the office with your son, where they take the fingerprints. Keep calling USCIS and then a week later take the Infopass appnt again. That should do it.

From the information I can gather, all medical professionals say that the tetanus vaccination is safe. However I am hugely opposed to vaccinations ever since I had a hideous reaction to a flu shot, but I'm opposed to vaccines especially in pregnancy and USCIS will not accept me not having the tetanus vaccine. Our immigration doctor said I have no choice. I also don't like the mercury and formaldehyde that they put in vaccines and the fact they say it "won't hurt" my baby doesn't go well with me at all. It's interesting how the medical community says "sure, have the shot" yet people in other forums that I've seen say "don't do it!!"

La Opini�n, the nation�s largest Spanish-language newspaper, urged a boycott in an editorial Monday, as did the Rev. Al Sharpton, and calls for such action spread to social media sites. The San Francisco city attorney and members of the Board of Supervisors said they would propose that the city not do business with the state.
They followed the lead of Representative Ra�l M. Grijalva, Democrat of Arizona, who had urged conventions to skip the state, though other Democrats who oppose the law, including Mayor Phil Gordon of Phoenix, pleaded for people not to punish the entire state.
Tourism and convention managers, struggling to rebound from the recession, said it was too soon to tell if the effort would have an impact, but some businesses said people were turning away from the state.
At the Arizona Inn in Tucson, the manager, Will Conroy, said that over the weekend 12 customers canceled reservations or said they would not return to the state because of the law.
Tourism officials said such accounts were not widespread, but they were concerned that the rancor was tarnishing the state�s image and were mindful of the boycott in the 1980s that led to Arizona�s officially observing Martin Luther King�s Birthday after initially rejecting it as a holiday.
