Overpriced. These games are ancient and most of them don't offer much gameplay at all. Plus it cost atari essentially nothing to put this app out. If they made it $0.99 for the hundred pack then it'd be no-brainer, we'd buy it just for the nostalgia alone. I could conceivably see paying up to $4.99 for the hundred pack for the very small handful of games that are actually worth playing. But $14.99 for these junky games? No way.
p.s., I'm not saying all old games are bad, quite the contrary, there are a lot of fantastic old games that still hold up well, but the atari era of games were especially crappy.
No way are they junky!
But, the Nintendo DS version require Vol. 1 & 2 for all 100, which comes to $40.
The difference is physical media, no DRM, and using a portable with REAL BUTTONS (;)) - but that's a whole other discussion...
Hopefully, it'll be on sale for $9.99 (about 10 cents/game)

I like it. The only thing I don't love is the Weather widget. However I do like the weather there. Try this widget I just modified.
Download it here: https://public.me.com/upaymeifixit
That's fantastic, thanks so much..
I had a slight issue but I like the weather there. Now it all looks great. :)

Red is screwed, yellow is sucky, green is above replacement... You don't want birth rate to drop below 2.1, Turkey the only country above replacement is 2.14...
http://www.economist.com/node/5494593
The only meaningful way to save the red countries from depopulation is to eliminate access to birth control and abortions. Places have tried to boost birth rates, it hasn't succeeded.
And tell me...how do you figure out this 2.1 magic number? What's wrong with 1.9? Does the human race have to be like bateria and proliferate all over the place consuming the earth until the land is barren? That's what you want? You want Europe to be like China and run out of food such that they have to give "child licenses" so that ppl won't starve to death? Oh...I know...how about Afghanistan which is what? Like 7? That's a model country we should take after for sure!

And what about the person who is accused of raping a baby and is later exonerated? If they are executed then the state has murdered an innocent person, but if they have life in prison then you can make it right. And locking them up in prison for life does remove them from the world as they are never getting out.
I think there should be firm standards for capital punishment. There are certain cases where someone is guilty without a doubt. The connecticut incident, arizona killer, etc. There are many cases where the death penalty is appropriate. If it's a crime with no witnesses but a lot of solid proof, the sentence should be life in prison. See, there's ways around all these "whats ifs".
You need to increase your medication as a matter of urgency.
Nah, i took my adderal today, does wonders i must say.

It was funny to me when this started and people were talking about jailbreaking and making it so this file could not be written.
People were actually willing to make their phones not work properly because of their ignorance and paranoia.
By the way I missing the part were Jobs said this was an oversight on Apple's part. From the part quoted here, it essentially says, working as intended.
Whether there was good intent or not, I'm just thankful I installed untrackerd from Cydia; it continuously wipes the location file. JB FTW!
Speaking of the people I mentioned above... LOL. Seriously. You are impairing the functionality of your phone because you think ANYONE cares what cell towers you might have been near... In your case the ability to jailbreak is a bad thing.

I'm just wondering when they're going to unveil it! If I'm not mistaken, March/April is usually the announcement period, with a launch in June-July.
They haven't announced anything yet, which either means that they're working on something HUGE, or it's behind schedule
I've been thinking about that: remember when there were rumors of OS X delays because the Mac team was pulled onto the iOS team in order to get 3.0 out? I'm wondering if the opposite is happening now - the iOS team has been pulled onto the Lion team in order to get Lion ready for a summer launch. This could be the reason we're not hearing much about iOS 5.
Patience. We didn't hear much if anything about iOS 4 this time last year. It was announced in April.
Anyways, if they add turn-by-turn, bike routes, and remove the awful need for "calibration" (I expect this needs an improvement in the GPS hardware?) I'll be thrilled.

Not really, Tower Records wasn't working because they didn't move online with their catalogue quickly enough. The commercial real estate is getting way overpriced.
Else why is Virgin Megastore and HMV still around?
HMVs have been closed across the US, and even some Virgins have shut their doors.
I think Tower was just the first in line, not the exception to the rule...

You might be waiting for a while. If your machine still does what it needs to do then wait...but if you really need a new computer then go ahead. You could wait another 10 months though.

Without a reciept or without a reciept from an authorized dealer, Apple would still have to provide warranty service from the manufacture date.
Doubtful since their warranty does not transfer to a second hand buyer. If I were to buy an iPod and then sell it on ebay a few weeks later the new owner would not be covered.

I have a bad problem I can't seem to fix (for almost a year now). Thanks to Outlook, somehow a duplicate mailbox was created on the server for the admin user (me: gary). When mail is sent to gary@aspenridge.ca it is possible for it to end up in either of the two mailboxes in /var/spool/dovecot/mail. I manually (as root) deleted one of the mailboxes last year but every once in a while, the duplicate mailbox re-appears. Now, I should clarify that the mailbox is unique (has a unique name), however the owner is still listed as 'gary' twice. Here's the output of the directory:
aspenridge:mail gary$ ls -l
total 0
drwx------ 21 melody mail 714 Dec 26 23:05 19368C01-774D-42B6-B753-8621DD72251F/
drwx------ 17 enrique mail 578 Jan 20 14:21 2CFD6ABD-CABC-44C8-BA1A-82AB8CFF2AB4/
drwx------ 13 gary mail 442 Jan 20 14:39 7CF2BDA1-2890-4DA9-9953-41C3425FDF13/
drwx------ 17 nelly mail 578 Jan 20 13:08 BDA2D0D9-D21F-40FE-8C9E-DD868C750B1C/
drwx------ 22 gferrer mail 748 Jan 20 14:31 D1D3FF6F-CE36-4682-A31A-F1B7A0E62DF8/

drwx------ 16 gary mail 544 Jan 8 14:16 EDE561D8-F6F8-4C1F-A54B-210E5D60CD75/
As you can see, mailbox owned by 'gary' is there twice and this is a problem. I tried deleting the 'gary' user but the system won't allow me to (I think it's because it's the admin user originally created when setting up the system). Because I can't reliably receive mail as gary@aspenridge.ca, I had to create another user 'gferrer' instead and set 'gary' to forward mail to gferrer@aspenridge.ca in WM.
Any ideas what I can do here to fix the problem?
Thanks.

No. It's fairly common sense stuff really to stick code in like class="title" instead of class="blue" to infer structure in a document, not the design.
I agree - especially about the class="blue" example. This will lead into problems as soon as the element should be given another colour in the future. However, the original post reads like "Hey, let's say this <element> is LARGE and let the browser decide what a LARGE <element> should look like, how large it should be, etc..."; and that's what I criticise.
csszengarden is also just ONE underlying document structure and not a terribly practical one either. It's there to showcase what can be done just with CSS, not how to design a practical semantically led page.
Guess the main problem is that they can't update the initial document structure afterwards - otherwise there would be problems with all the designs.

A business suit can make a potential assailant believe you are ripe for the picking, just as "being dressed like a prostitute" (whatever that means) could do. The comparison is apropos.
So why are we so quick to condemn one, yet excuse at any cost the other? Bit of a double standard there.
