I'm looking for a recipe box app where I can add my own recipes, delete the ones that come pre-installed and preferably has a shopping list. A clean UI is a huge plus. Can anyone recommend one? The apps I've found so far haven't been what I am looking for.

I'm looking for a keyboard and mouse... except I'm in London, and it doesn't make much sense to ship one from the States...

No surprises here, the majority of people are waiting for the next iPhone.
Or already gave up on waiting and switched to AT&T.

I haven't been up to date on the Mac flashing scene for a couple years now, but when I was last keeping up with it the MDD remained a problem child, and would not accept cards that worked well on the Digital Audio and Quicksilver G4s.
I bought a Radeon 9600 PRO from OWC years ago, it was an OEM card pulled from an AGP G5 tower with pins 3 & 11 taped by OWC. They stopped selling them after awhile because of problems with certain versions of the G4 but it always worked fine for me in my Digital Audio.
The bottom line is, not all cards work in all brands of G4, and the reasons for this are not fully understood in all cases. Your mileage may vary! This is why the Radeon 9800 Pro 128MB is a favorite choice for flashing, because it is one of the few cards that is known to work in all G4s.*
*With the caveat that Radeon 9800s with more or less video memory than the 128MB version don't always work, and other verisons of the 9800 (XT, XL, SE) either don't work or are not proven to work on most machines.
dang, totally forgot about that. i've even linked that before. very useful thread! (click the link in his signature)
Thanks for the plug! That was a fun project, and the darned card still works. :D

I hate AT&T with a passion. Yet, I'd never switch to Verizon because I'm hooked on 3Mbps + speeds. They're the crack of carriers.
Don't fall for Apple's finger pointing.
AT&T does not set the price for iPhones.
Perhaps your unfamiliar with the massive control Apple has over everyone they interface with.

I will say something about SPRINT. First off, that article is WRONG!
Baltimore, Maryland is the 1st SPRINT test market for 4G, but it's not even mentioned in that article! I know so because SPRINT is actively advertising it and it's been in other press reports. So how many other test markets did they miss in their alleged comparison of 4G vs. 3G I wonder?
Um, all of them, I guess. That test was carried out locally, since the local city, at that time, provided "4G" from the 3 tested providers. I'm not sure why that would be a problem for you. The only issue I have with it is that Tmob is not tested to cover all 4 national providers, perhaps that wasn't up and running in Detroit at the time. Maybe you'll like this?: http://www.rootmetrics.com/pr/reports/2011/20110320_Seattle_4G_Study.pdf
So, what magical speed does Sprint offer in Baltimore? Considering that they only claim maximum 6Mbps speed for their "4G" network, and that was achieved in the test, you shouldn't have any problem with it.
"4G" is the problem. As marketed:
Sprint (http://shop2.sprint.com/en/shop/why_sprint/4g/evo_plan_details.html): up to 6Mbps
AT&T (http://www.wireless.att.com/answer-center/main.jsp?t=solutionTab&ft=&ps=solutionPanels&locale=en_US&_dyncharset=UTF-8&solutionId=KB115947): up to 6Mbps
Tmob (http://t-mobile-coverage.t-mobile.com/4g-wireless-technology): up to 21Mbps (however, I never see test reports breaking 8Mbps)
VZW (http://network4g.verizonwireless.com/#/whatis4g): up to 12Mbps (but test reports show higher speeds)
Do you see anything amiss in the use of the same word for all that?

Mine was 10MB ... and people told me I was wasting money since a second floppy drive (5 1/4) would be more than enough (one to boot the OS, one for the data).

Exactly, Apple wouldn't care if you did. What you sold would be 2nd hand and have no warranty etc.. The same I assume would be true of T.J.s. As non authorized dealers they have bought some iPads and would be selling them as second hand items. Buyer beware.
Why is everyone under the impression that Apple is Sony, Dell, etc?
Apple Warranty is valid for the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc buyer of the same product because Apple doesn't do that ridiculous crap of killing off a warranty based on resale. It is based on the dated receipt. If you have a receipt, and it is within the 1 year warranty, it's covered.
I have bought and resold my main computers over and over again. I sell when I reach that last month mark. The buyers are always covered for that last month, and if they so choose, they can buy the 2 year extended before that final month is over.

Unfortunately, facts do not matter to these people, as most IT departments are clueless about TCO.
Actually most IT managers/departments are very informed about TCO, which is why they don't shell out the money for hardware that is 2x as expensive, software that is 4x as expensive (due to miserable volume licensing plans for OS X), the cost of training support and logistics personnel to support Macs/OS X, and the amount of time it will take to retrain users to use the new hard/software.
Ironically, most people who make statements such as yours either aren't in IT or have a very unrealistic view of the world.
I would really like some good arguments to put to him regarding why mac's should be allowed on our company network and should form part of our IT systems.
When you write your proposal, consider using proper English grammar. "Macs" as in "a number of computers made by Apple" does not, notice, have an apostrophe.
The basic fact of the matter is that large, established Windows-based network infrastructures have no incentive at all to switch to Apple machines.
Enterprise-support from the manufacturer (Apple)? HUGE fail.
Seriously. This is what guarantees Dell's, HP's, and RIM's complete dominance of the enterprise market. Who would have guessed that when your central business functions depend on your hardware being "up" it doesn't cut it to have to bring a unit into an Apple Store?

someone FIND A 'SPEECH' TUTOR for the Cingular guy!
Aside from that, I'm kinda dissapointed there's no mentioning of any software updates, or mac updates.
Aside from that, it was pretty awesome.
Gotta love John Mayer's performance ;)

This comes to prove that the majority of users actually aren't that dumb... They are smart enough to wait a couple of months for a new/better product... Good for them... I love Apple but the cdma iP4 did come too late...
