In Flash you mean?
Usually breaking things apart relates to groups of object and sometimes even to movie clips themselves, but you certainly can break apart an imported graphic, I actually do it all the time.
a good example would be if you were going to use a picture as a fill. I did this in the following example

I needed the stone texture I was using to rotate with the dial. I found that it looked best using the picture as a fill for the dial. I had tried to create a circular png outside of flash for some time.. that way I could do transparency on the pic and just rotate it in flash.. but it never looked right, and the file size was huge. By breaking apart a jpg, I could use just what I wanted from it, leaving the holes in the pic up to flash to produce.

Dates were current till 2005. They were again current in between.

please pardon my ignorance but I was under the assumption that labor subsitution policy was discontinued by the USCIS on july 16 2007...........

I have a similar question. I used AP and my I 94 will expire soon. How do you renew validity of I94. I do have a valid H1 till 2010. My EAD expired but I did not renew it as I don't intend to use it. AP also has to be renewed.
Please advise if I-94 has to be renewed or am I good as my H1 is valid.

What is the relation between a 3 year H1B Approval granted on an approved I-140 and the underlying I-140 petition ? Specifically, what happens if an employee leaves the company, are the remaining years (out of 3 granted originally) still valid ? What happens if the original employer revokes/cancels the underlying peition on which the extension was originally granted ? Is the H1B petition based on a an approved I-140 linked to that I-140 in anyway once it (H1B petition) is approved ? Please indicate any laws or precedents that can clarify the implications of the above scenarios.

She could have filed I9 form on the last day or penultimate day of work. Straightforward thing to do is employer giving her a termination letter or her submitting a resignation letter on the last day of employment.

This is a sort of repeat post for me BUT for the sake of forward movement, I am supporting this motion forward.
Those who received Green should contribute as much as possible. Sometimes, splitting contribution to recurring (instalment) payments works wonder. This is called small is beautiful in India and Kaizen in Japan. According to this philosophy, if you make 5 phone calls everyday with consistency, you could make numerous calls over a period of time. However, if you try to make 100 calls a day, it does not go much farther.
Material contribution (money) is important to sustain IV (keeping website up and running, maintenance and other overheads) in this corporate country.
However, intellectual contribution is very important as well. For some reason if monetary contribution could not be made, one could contribute by knowledge-sharing. Rational and analytical thoughts, balanced ideas and responsible opinions are a huge asset and let us make IV knowlede-driven, smart and sharp organization.
Bottomline: Contribute by thoughts, donations and best still, both.
Remember: We are knowledge workers and we can do things smartly and practically.

My current 8th year H1 is valid until end of May 2007 from employer A, we applied for 9th year ext and got a big RFE. As a backup, can I transfer my H1 to employer B and get 1 year extension (until May 2008) based on my approved labor from employer A ??

I have an Olympus C2100 Ultrazoom. The real focal length of the lens is given as 7mm to 70mm (38mm to 380mm on 35mm equiv). When I operate the zoom lever, a bar appears in the viewfinder with T at the top and W at the bottom. Can I assume that this scale will be linear in terms of the focal length ie if the number of steps between W and T is 30, would each step increase the focal length by 63/30 mm (=(70-7)/30)? This would,however, mean that my standard 50mm equivalent focal length would be only one step up from the W end of the scale, which does not ring true. In which case, is there an easy way to 'calibrate ' this scale?

When you are talking about H1 extension, you should keep in mind that there is an additional cost to get an actual visa (if you travel). Ask employer to extend H1, but be smart and apply for EAD. You never know what may happen. Employer or your job can vanish very quickly. You may not have time to wait for a new EAD. No need to jeopardize your GC by saving on EAD extension. As for AP, I do not really see a need for it if you have H1 (although you may experience difficulties with getting H1b stamp, so it may be wise to get AP just in case) or if you are not going to travel.
Gaps in EAD/AP is not a problem from GC perspective, but having a valid EAD all the time is very prudent.

How do we know if our case is pre-adjudicated or nor, is it only a guess based on PD, that a case may pre-adjudicated.
Today, I called uscis, and asked if my case is pre-adjudicated or not. I was told that the rep does not have access to my personal info.

I 485 RD - Aug 17, 2007 and ND - Oct 16, 2007
Attended interview at the local uscis on June 25th, 2009
Spouse alone second FP on July 5th , 2009

This effort tries to eliminate unused visas and utilize most of it. So the way I see it is, USCIS pre-adjudicates cases, then those who are "pre-approve" will be sorted on a different place maybe database which will be submitted to the Visa Center. If it wasn't for the patch up by Immigration dept in 2007, this country would have seen Indians forced to head back home by the 10000's. And those that were fortunate enough to retain jobs or move on to new ones by porting AC-21 are forced to stay in the SAME role with no relief coming from the Govt for AC-21 which would then allow them to get promoted or recognized for their hardwork. Imagine the shock my boss had when I had to refuse promotion as that would jeopardize my GC(expected to be approved in the next 10 years)? And if that doesn't bother you enough, then once every 2 years(thankfully EAD is now valid for 2 yrs), you start fasting and praying that your EAD gets renewed without issues. You get the drift now, don't you?
And that is not to say I do not acknowledge the efforts your team has been putting in. I, along with the many 1000's, truly appreciate the selfless and noble efforts your team has been constantly putting in to bring about bigger changes. THANK YOU!!

I forget the site the FDIC lists the trouble banks that may fail. You bank should not be in the list. Even if it is in the list and your account is FDIC insured and account has less than 100K then you will get money from FDIC if bank fails.
If FDIC fails than we all in the US are in trouble. It will total collapse of the system. I dont think it will ever happen but who knows.

I-140 onwards in good 'ol days when there was no PERM because your LC would not reach USCIS untill you applied...now i believe you file PERM with USCIS so it would be LC. ....someone correct me if I am wrong.
Please enlighten me. What constitute a proof of immigrant intent?
